Statistical loggingWe do keep track of the domains from which people visit us as well as other auxilliary data. We analyze this data for trends and statistics, and then we discard it. Data gathered by monitoring and logging is under no circumstances made available to other persons than the webmaster and the STS council. On the topic of web bugs: rest assured that we do not use them. Sponsoring NotesThis website displays commercial advertisements (banners). We do recognize the fact that you may find this at times distracting. However, this site has not been set up in order to make personal profit by selling ad space. On the contrary, the STS has the status of a non-profit organisation (in accordance with German law). All money paid by sponsors is transferred into a bank account owned by the Signal Transduction Society. After paying the bills for this website (it is hosted commercially by Strato AG, Berlin), all remaining money will be used in accordance with the "Satzung": "The Gesellschaft für Signaltransduktion (GST) or Signal Transduction Society (STS) is devoted to scientific exchange between investigators concerned with cellular signal transduction.
